Last night Ethan woke up was screaming “Want a hug”.  Krystie went into his room and he said “Bear”.  Krystie asked him “what bear?”, and he said “bear outside”.

We’re pretty sure this was his first nightmare.  It would be pretty scary if there was a bear outside the window.

7 Weeks…

It’s been 7 weeks since Aiden was born.  He’s sleeping well (8:30-1:30-5:30), and he still snorts like crazy when he’s hungry.

Aiden isn’t doing much yet but sleep and eat.  He’s been starting to make some different sounds.  Krystie and I are pretty sure he did a real smile yesterday.

2 weeks…

It’s been 2 weeks since Aiden was born.  The late night feeds and lack of sleep are starting to take their toll on Krystie and I.  Both of us are very tired and in need of a long 8 hour stretch of sleep.

Aiden is doing fine, he is eating like crazy all night long.  It’s still early but man I’m ready for him to sleep through the night.

Ethan is also doing well, he’s a massive ball of energy and needs to be outside most of the day or he goes nuts.  He is handling the baby fine and loves to give him kisses and hugs.

Snort Snort

Aiden doesn’t really cry that often but when he does it goes something like this;

Whaaaaaaaaah… Whaaaaaaaaaaaaah… Snort… Snort…. Whaaaaaaaaaaaah!

He snorts when he’s hungry, it’s pretty funny.

Holy cow Ethan… You’re temper tantrum’s are at an all time high, I can’t wait to tease you about it when you get older.

He’s your brother and he’s not going anywhere.

We’re home!

We got home from the hospital today, thanks to some fancy footwork from Krystie.  Normally we would have had to stay for at least two days after the birth but Krystie got us out early, no one wants to be in the  hospital.

We got home to Bob and Brenda at about 3:30pm.  Ethan was happy to see us, but is still a little unsure of Aiden.  We’ll see how things go, I suppose these things are tough on a 2 year old that is used to being the center of attention.  Oh well! Time to share the spot light with your baby brother.

It’s quite a handle.  Aiden was born today at 1:41pm.  He was 7lb 11oz and screamed his head off almost immediately.

We’re having dinner and out of the blue Ethan leans to right, lifts a cheek and…. Let’s ‘er rip!

Of course he looked at us and smiled.

Yes!!

Two years of “No, No, No, No, No”… And all of a sudden he starts saying “Yes”.

Went to the mall today to kill some time and ended up in the food court for lunch.  Ethan drank a small carton of milk and ate a few cucumbers, then told Krystie he wasn’t hungry anymore.  I took the trays to the garbage and before I knew it Krystie was yelling at me to get back to the table.  As I made my way back Ethan blew massive chunks all over Krystie.  She was literally covered in white coloured barf.  I had to buy Krystie and Ethan new shirts to go home in.

Same thing happened at dinner.  He drank some milk and then this look came over his face… and wham-mo… white vomit all over Mommy!
