At dinner tonight Ethan wouldn’t eat his food. Krystie asked him what he likes. Ethan said “I just like peas, milk and guns”.

Aiden is saying his first consistent word now. Everything is “no”. I think he just likes that he is saying a word.

Krystie and I were putting Ethan to bed the other night. We were in his bedroom and Krystie was putting his pajamas on. Ethan gave Krystie a hug and then said “Mommy you’re my best friend”.
It was the cutest thing he’s ever said.

Krystie and Ethan were reading a book about the provinces today. Ethans’ favourite province is Nunavut, but he pronounces it Ninner-Vert.

A couple of days ago Ethan and Krystie were playing outside. Its been pretty warm the last couple of days, so the snow is melting. Out of the blue Ethan said “I want spring time, send the snow to Spain”

Just out of curiosity I counted Ethan’s and Aiden’s shoes today. The counts are below;
Ethan (3 years) – 17
Aiden (9 months) – 14
This count does not include the container of shoes in the basement that Ethan has outgrown, which will be handed down to Aiden.

Today in the bathtub Ethan put a cup on his head and said “Look at my magic hat”. He made some hand gestures and said “Abra Da Dabra” and pretended to pull something out of his magic hat.

We were in the basement playing this morning and I asked Krystie what she was drinking, she told me tea.
Ethan said “Then Mommy took the carpet out of her tea”. Krystie and I were confused, but we realised he meant the tea bag.
